Memory #20: Arriving at Cair Paravel

Form: Two cookies, both obviously shaped like a girl. One is burned and one is not.

Eustace and Jill follow Glimfeather and a Faun across the lawn and through an orchard to the North Gate of Cair Paravel. Inside is a grassy courtyard. It's evening; the sun has set and the air is cool, and lights are already showing from the great hall and the cluster of complicated outbuildings into which the Owl leads the children. A willow dryad comes to take care of Jill, and leads her into a round room in one of the turrets, with a little bath set in the floor and a sweet-smelling fire burning on the flat hearth and a lamp hanging from a silver chain from the vaulted roof. The window looks west to the setting sun and the mountains. Jill has a bath and brushes her hair and puts on the beautiful Narnian clothes that have been laid out for her, and goes to look out the window, excited and happy and ready for more adventures.
