Jill's relationship with Mercedes?

Jill really cares about Mercedes. She wants to look after her and help her, and she thinks she's cute and mostly easy to be around. She does sometimes find Mercedes frustrating, because she seems really passive, which is not something Jill understands or has a lot of patience for. She kind of sees her as a little sister, although she wouldn't necessarily put it in those words.

Mercedes is always happy to see Jill. She thinks she's very kind and considerate and enjoys her company. She likes talking with Jill about things, sharing their memories, and thinks Jill can really be relied on in games and such. I think Jill has influenced Mercedes a little to be more mature about things. To recognize that she can't help being frightened or uncomfortable with some things (such as in games) but she tries to bear with it and endure it more than she might otherwise without Jill's encouragement like: "Just calm down and let's do this."

Seeing Jill's memory of Narnia also has helped Mercedes' assimilate/accept herself and her own memories better because her starter put her in a mindset of "Fairies are abnormal to humans (and probably pigeons)," so seeing Jill in company of Unicorns/Dwarfs etc. has helped her get used to the idea of humans and other fantasy-races living together as 'possible'.

Also, while she's not exactly jealous of Jill, watching her body suddenly mature a few years has put the idea in her head of "Will that happen to me? I want it to! :o" that she otherwise wouldn't have. |D
