[now that he's gotten emotional he doesn't seem to be un-emotioning just yet.]

[tentatively reaches up and touches his cheek]

[it probably actually feels warm that's how much he's blushing now. he looks like he might have kept being blindly emotional if he weren't too stunned for the moment]

Ah--um . . . what do you mean by . . . saying that? To me, right now--?

I... I...

[brushes her thumb along his jaw, searching for words]

I want to make you happy. I'm glad I do. I want to make you as happy as I can.

[debossy]

[trying to watch the progression of her thumb with his eyes without moving his head; it might look a little silly. finally he reaches to take her hand in his]

I-I--I also . . . I would like that. You do. You will for as long as you are by my side, and I--would like it very much if you'd remain there, for however long it will be possible.

. . . If you would like!

[laces their fingers]

[half torn between some ridiculous tsundere response and a stupid teenage boy yelp of happiness, which means neither happens, which is probably for the best. lifting her hand to his lips though to kiss her fingers, before--]

--You are absolutely certain?! You must be certain! I, I don't always look like this! I only rarely . . . you see?

[kissing her fingers again, in illustration: see see these are the lips I usually don't have]

Oh, honestly, Sakuya. As if I could mind. Are you sure? I've only had wings the once...

[debossy]

I am quite certain most humans mind! But far be it from me to attempt to convince you! It only means you have superior taste in men!

And--believe me, I do not mind.

[boy do I ever not mind]

[laughs, amused but also very fond and very happy]

You're so vain.

Um, but... I am certain, and I don't mind, but... well since we can't very often I just think you should kiss me again!

[saying the last bit very fast, blushing hotly yet again]

You realize I am perfectly capable of kissing . . . though of course it's very different, and not nearly as--well, humans are better equipped for a great many, er--

[you know what a good way of not talking is, is kissing. tilting her chin towards him and pressing his lips to hers again, only too happy to do so]

[he is not going to be the one to stop you know.]

[this could go on for awhile, then]

[it's practice. practice makes perfect. he's a quick study, too . . . but at least he's not being (too) untoward about anything.]

[she wouldn't like him so much if he weren't a gentleman anyway.

now that she's figured out that feelings exist, though, she's dropped all hesitancy and is learning how this kissing thing works with some enthusiasm]

[it's increasingly impossible to be hesitant under those circumstances, so yes, enthusiastic making out is the way to go. it's also really difficult to stay quiet once it reaches a certain point--moaning shortly into her mouth, his fingers tangling in her hair]

[breaks the kiss, gasping a little, resting her forehead against his, arms draped loosely around his neck]

Ah--

[yyyyes catching his breath, looking away, flustered again that he did that--but not moving away]

This is -- all right -- isn't it?

[quickly] Yes! --Yes. Entirely . . . all right.

[this time I will be the one to initiate the kissing! hah!]

at some point, breaking the kiss to try kissing lightly at her neck, daring (and slightly awkward)]
