[at least he warned her. he doesn't waste much time in leaning in and kissing her again, despite his fading embarrassment]

[tilting her face up to him, kissing back more eagerly than before and reaching up to cup the back of his neck with one hand, fingers threading through his hair]

[has finally fully gotten onto the okay yes this is how human making out works train yeah. experimenting with it a little now that he's relaxed, hands splayed possessively on her back, kissing more energetically]

[makes a surprised little noise -- not giving as good as she's getting, but pliant, following along]

[hugs her a bit harder suddenly, almost like he might lift her up off the ground--but he doesn't quite, though he does break the kiss to laugh breathlessly against her lips, smiling]

[makes a tiny "eep!" sound, then laughs a bit, also out of breath]

[and blushing faintly again, after it had mostly receded, oops]

[brushes a ghost of a kiss to the corner of his mouth]

[hesitates fractionally before brushing his bangs back out of his eyes]

[certainly isn't complaining, looking back at her face, slightly confused]

Er. My feelings--?

[glances down, shy]

A-any of it. Your feelings or -- mine -- or... kissing...

[laughs again softly]

I feel as if I don't know anything... but I don't mind...

[taking her hand, and beginning to lead her slowly off the dance floor; there are more comfortable places to sit and be shy and unsure at one another surely!]

. . . Earlier tonight, Kira from Kunzite approached me to kiss me for the game . . . she was quite romantic about it, and--it disturbed me, a bit. I told her I didn't understand how anyone could want to kiss in that fashion when they were not attracted to the other party, and she called me--"romantic." . . . I've never considered myself a romantic. My father is certainly not one! But in all honestly, when she acted in that way towards me, it made me uncomfortable, because I--I've been aware for some time that there is only one person I feel a certain way for.

I-I-I'd wondered if you realized! . . . However, if you had not, I couldn't be surprised. I am not human. People assume certain things about me because of that.

[flushing more violently, but okay this subject can be skirted around mostly innocently to the same effect and point]

--It isn't uncommon, at home! It is not particularly taboo for such relationships to occur! Of course, my father would never approve of a thing like that, but that isn't a concern for most birds. It . . . things are as they are. But that is not how things are for the rest of you.
