[easing her upright, and then already about . . . a third of the way to leaning in to her before he pauses, blushing violently]

J-jill, I--may I--?

[leans the rest of the way in and kisses him]

[oh good. looping his arms around her waist and kissing back, not . . . quite chastely, gentle but kind of insistent]

[responding, hesitant and unsure, but not pulling away at all, her hands resting lightly on his shoulders]

[well he is probably not going to be the one to break it. in fact, he's never tried to initiate this before, but it's been sprung on him a few times by other people, so he does at least kind of know how to deepen it. and now is the time to put that knowledge to use. right]

[she's certainly letting him! less hesitant now and more experimental, leaning more of her weight against him, still letting him lead...]

[relaxing because it seems to be going well, enough to let himself make a deep pleased little noise, hugging her a little more snugly]

[breaks the kiss at that, but doesn't pull away, just buries her face in his shoulder, a little breathless]

[makes another little wordless noise, more of surprise, and slowly lifts his hand to touch her hair]

[relaxes, catching her breath and hiding against his shirt]

[petting her hair, then, not letting go of her]

[it takes a few moments for him to respond, voice low and hesitant]

If you are not going to lift your head, then I--I won't be able to do it again.

[slowly looks up]

[at least he warned her. he doesn't waste much time in leaning in and kissing her again, despite his fading embarrassment]

[tilting her face up to him, kissing back more eagerly than before and reaching up to cup the back of his neck with one hand, fingers threading through his hair]

[has finally fully gotten onto the okay yes this is how human making out works train yeah. experimenting with it a little now that he's relaxed, hands splayed possessively on her back, kissing more energetically]

[makes a surprised little noise -- not giving as good as she's getting, but pliant, following along]

[hugs her a bit harder suddenly, almost like he might lift her up off the ground--but he doesn't quite, though he does break the kiss to laugh breathlessly against her lips, smiling]

[makes a tiny "eep!" sound, then laughs a bit, also out of breath]
